The purpose of the survey was to determine the number of people who use drugs in the Maldives and to find out the probability of people starting to use drugs.
It also studied the level of awareness in the society in relation to drug issues.
Tonight’s ceremony was attended by President Dr Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik, Vice President Mohamed Waheed Deen and Health Minister Ahmed Jamsheed.
