Farish Maumoon appointed Media Coordinator of PPM

Farish Maumoon has been appointed as the Media Coordinator of the ruling party, Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM).

Former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom’s son, Farish, was appointed to this post at a meeting of the PPM Council last night.

PPM’s regulation states that the party shall have a Media Committee, consisting of a Spokesperson and a Media Coordinator. The post of Media Coordinator has been vacant until now.

The council also decided last night to hold the party’s national congress next year.
